Tranexamic acid for the treatment of postpartum haemorrhage: An international, randomised, double blind, placebo controlled trial. The WOMAN trial showed that if given within 3 hours, TXA can reduce the risk of death due to bleeding by one third

WOMAN Pharmaco - TXA Trial (on-going)

WOMAN-PharmacoTXA trial will assess the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of tranexamic acid administered by intravenous (IV), intramuscular (IM) or oral liquid routes in women giving birth by caesarean section with at least one risk factor for PPH
