After completing my BSc in Mathematics and Statistics at Queen Mary University of London, I went on to do my MSc in Medical Statistics at LSHTM. I then joined the CTU at LSHTM in February 2018, where I work as a Research Fellow in Medical Statistics. This involves providing statistical support for several large international randomised controlled trials involving the use of the antifibrinolytic Tranexamic Acid (TXA). I am currently working on data from the CRASH-3 (Clinical Randomisation of an Antifibrinolytic in Significant Head injury), HALT-IT (Haemorrhage ALleviation with Tranexamic acid – InTestinal system) and WOMAN-2 (WOrld Maternal ANtifibrinolytic Trial-2) trials.
I take part in face-to-face teaching on the Basic Epidemiology module and on the Introductory Course in Epidemiology and Medical Statistics (ICEMS) short course. I am also a tutor on the Basic Statistics for Clinical Trials distance learning module.
